Can it handle self-signed certs or only those from a valid, public CA? Also, personally I don't mind the $5 charge, but you might consider giving it away for free for 30 days or so, getting patches and fixes and such, then charging for it after the first release of bugfixes. You might quickly find that just cause it works on your Nagios site that doesn't mean it will work on all and some code changes might be needed.
