I encountered a problem while using snmp4nagios. the program is supposed to report admin=up/oper=down as a critical error. i was testing this by unplugging the fiber from a host on the switch. when i do this, the check_brocade_port program was generating a WARNING, saying that the admin status as down. it reports exactly the same message as when i administratively disable the same port. curiously enough, logging on to the switch and running a switchshow displays the correct status. that is, not disabled and NO_LIGHT.
