said about cgi.cfg. The new contact shouldn’t have to be defined here,
should it? In cgi.cfg I can define users to be authorized for ALL Host Commands
and whatnot, but this is not what I want. By default, shouldn’t anyone
listed as a contact for a host be able to view that host?<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>I’ve setup some new servers in Nagios, and assigned
them to a new user listed in contacts.cfg and in an .htpasswd file for cgi
access. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Running the configuration verification check shows no
warning and no errors. When logged in to the GUI as this user I can view all of
the services, run commands to check them, etc., but cannot view or send host
related commands.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Anyone know what I’m missing?<o:p></o:p></p>
