After updating the software, the service name has changed. I’ve modified the Nagios config file, verified and re-started.<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> When I try to verify from the command line with the following:<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> ./check_nt –H {SERVER_IP} –s {PASSWORD} –v SERVICESTATE –d SHOWALL –l dltkprocessserver<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> I get the following error:<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Connection refused<o:p></o:p> Could not fetch information from the server<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> In the Service Detail, it shows the following:<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Host Service Status Last Check Duration Attempt Status Information<o:p></o:p> {SERVERNAME} WARNING 01-15-2008 08:45:00 0d 17h 56m 7s 3/3 dltkprocessserver: Unknown<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> It doesn’t say the service is down, it just says unknown. I got the process name from both a tasklist /svc and in the Services list in Windows, have verified the spelling several times.
