another nagios server today to deploy and I ran into the same problem you are
having.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>There are a couple of things to check, but
make sure you follow the steps in the manual for creating a file named
'.htacess' and how that file should be in your /usr/local/nagios/sbin and
/usr/local/nagios/share folders. Then you should have another file name
htpasswd.users in your /usr/local/nagios/etc folder. Its all explained in
the manual here. </FONT></DIV>

<P><FONT size=2>I have installed the Mandriva version of the Nagios 2.0.3
beta. After<BR>fighting through permission problems to get the Web
Interface running I<BR>finally have the browser running, and I am trying to view
the one host I<BR>have defined.<BR><BR>When I click on the host detail
button, I get the following:<BR><BR>It appears as though you do not have
permission to view information for<BR>any of the hosts you requested...<BR>If
you believe this is an error, check the HTTP server
authentication<BR>requirements for accessing this CGI<BR>and check the
authorization options in your CGI configuration file.<BR><BR>Can anyone tell me
what this means? I cannot seem to run the CGI from<BR>the command line to
find the actual errors.<BR><BR>I would also like to know if there exists the
capability to log these<BR>actions to a debugging log file.<BR><BR>Best
