You can create a time period in timeperiod.cfg file which excluded the
period during which the servers are rebooted. Then you set the
check_period value for each definition of service of those servers to
this time period.<br>

have a set of servers that are rebooted every night they are in a
hostgroup of their own, at the moment everyday I schedule downtime for
that group of servers and was wondering if there was a way to make it
a recurring event ? - has anyone else experienced this and come up
with a solution at all ? In the FAQ it says to create a cron job that
writes the appropriate downtime commands to the external command file
but my knowledge of linux is pretty basic can maybe someone can point
me in the right direction.</span></font></div>
