Oracle plugin

No, oracle is not installed on this box.  Am trying to connect from the nagios server to the oracle db server via sqlplus.

-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 865995 Nov 17 12:05 /usr/local/instantclient_10_2/libsqlplus.so

Any ideas how I can resolve this?
