Hi there --

I am running Nagios 3.1.2 with the nrpe 2.12 on an Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit server. I
want to monitor
the status of the rsyslogd daemon, and be alerted if it is not running.

What would be the best plugin to use to monitor the status of this daemon?

Thanks.
