global event handler external commands notworking

[Geoff Franks]

I'm redirected there from
http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/extcommands.html. The
documentation says it works in nagios 2.x and 3.x. If this is not where
I should be looking, can you tell me where I should look?
