Timing of the deleteion of service check from the event queue

Hello all.

I would like to ask for an advice about when does nagios removes the service check 
from the event queue.

I was following the source code but couldn't actually find the part 
that actually removes the service check.

Does it removes after the reaper event or after the execution of the command ?
