Hi everybody,

i have a little problem with the check_snmp-Plugin that i do not understand so far. I'm
currently trying to montitor Palo-Alto-Firewalls. I'm able to retrieve information via
snmpwalk from the firewall:

root at nagios:# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 192.168.2.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.3.3
iso.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.3.3.0 = INTEGER: 591

If i try doing the same via the Nagios Check-Plugin check_snmp i get:
root at nagios:# /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_snmp -H 192.168.2.1 -P 2c -C public -o 1.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.3.3
External command error: Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: iso.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.3.3

What the heck? Why do I actually get information via snmpwalk but not via check_snmp?
Any hints?

Thanks,
Werner
