Hi,

Thanks all. The following works best:

define service {
       ....
       check_freshness                 1
       freshness_threshold             300
       check_command                  check_dummy
}

define command{
        command_name check_dummy
        command_line $USER1$/check_dummy 2 "Stale data: The server has not
responded."
}
