Yes, that's it! You have several nagios processes that are sons of the PID
== 1.

Do a /etc/init.d/nagios stop and execute that ps -fu nagios again to see
that there is remaining nagios processes that are sons of the PID == 1.

Then you kill'em all and start fresh.
