R: service acknowledges disappears

Yes I do.

Nagios.cfg:
retain_state_information=1

service definition:
retain_status_information        1
retain_nonstatus_information     0

Previous are the configurations also used in Nagios 1.4.1 (where some time
happens same problem, but only for few services, ALL configured with same
variables)

Do you have state retention enabled, program wide (nagios.cfg) and in  
the service definition?
