how to start nagios multiple instance

When I wanted to do this, I used one init.d script, heavily modified.

You'll need multiple nagios.cfg files so that the files that nagios  
writes to don't conflict. Nagios doesn't understand multiple arguments  
to things like 'log_file'.

I'm not sure but you may have issues if you enable the use of nagios  
environment variables?

4) Why do you think you need to run multiple instances of nagios? What  
are you trying to accomplish?
