Managing cluster failovers

Hi All,

I would like to know what is the best mechanism to monitor cluster resources
through nagios.

We have the disks that failover to other node, in that case, in the parent
node, nagios shows the drive as invalid and alert as UNKOWN.

Any help is highly appreciated.
