Notify via Growl?

I have nagios running on an openBSD box, and I would like to use  
Growl's network notification options to pop-up alert messages on my  
Mac for certain situations. Does anyone have a script or program that  
can do this already? I've looked around a bit, but all I've found seem  
to assume that nagios is running on the Mac, which is not the case  
here. I've got the Growl dev tools, which come with a python script it  
looks like I could hack to work, but before I spend too much time on  
that I wanted to see if it has already been done. Thanks.
