First place to look for plugins and so on is
http://www.monitoringexchange.org/cgi-bin/page.cgi?d=1

I use Oracle Grid Control to do most of the monitoring for Oracle
Databases. It's fairly easy to redirect alerts as SNMP traps from
Grid Control to your Nagios server (for example using NagTrap) if you
wish.

I believe using the Oracle Lightweight Client with Nagios to monitor
Oracle is covered in Wolfgang Barth's Book (certainly it was in the
1st edition). http://nostarch.com/nagios_2e.htm
