The parameter "-n" should be followed by "Name in description OID". The 
thing is that snmpwalk for one of the switches (3COM 2924) only returns 
"IF-MIB::ifDescr.1 = STRING: Ethernet Interface" as a description for 
all interfaces/ports.

How can you distinguish between the different ports?

What kind of switch(es) do you monitor (manufacturer/model)?
