Maildrop filtering to Acknowledge alerts

A change to our internal ticketing system has made it impossble for me to use procmail to filter and act upon messages due to base64/UTF-8 encoding limitations in procmail. I am looking into maildrop to handle this now. Is anyone doing acknowledgements (or any interaction) via email with Nagios and maildrop? Examples welcome.

Thanks.
Chris Waters
