MSSQL monitoring

Hello all-

 

First time post to this list.

 

I am setting up Nagios on a CentOS Linux machine and one of the servers
I wish to monitor is a Windows machine. I have setup NSClient and this
is working except I also need to monitor MSSQL and despite trying a
couple of different howtos on the net I have not been able to get this
functional.

 

Can someone please point me to a MS SQL monitoring howto, or provide
directions, that they have tested?
