Hello

I may be making fool out of myself here , but i tried of thinking of a solution for my problem and
couldn't so i am bringing it to the list.

My problem is - i have a list of about 950 units i am monitoring once a day between 5 -7 AM , with
the understanding that some of the (about 50-60) will be down.

After the test is done - we do not need to see them ( once the test is done a report is gathered and
sent out and we don't use the information for the rest of the day) , but they "cluter" the display
with all the CRITICAL errors they stay in.

My question is as follow - is there a way to make the nagios preform the test but not display those
units in the CGI ?

We tried putting the in seperate cfg file and add them before the testing time start and remove them
after testing is done , problem is due to this ,some of the units failed to actually be tested in
the time period defined for this , so we dropped that way.

I am using Nagios 2.12 on SLES 10.1 .
