Nagios 2 Results (via NSCA) to Nagios 3?

Hello,

I'm considering upgrading our core NAGIOS instance to 3(.0.3), but we
have 4 other NAGIOS servers (a typical distributed setup) that all
submit check results back to this core instance.

While I intend to upgrade them too, that prospect is a little bit
harder and will take a little bit more time. It will also be nearly
impossible to "flip the switch" in order to upgrade them all at the
same time.

I haven't yet seen any reason for this to be a problem, but I've only
read the "What's New" and upgrade changes/considerations.

Would there be any reason why NAGIOS 2 processes, submitting check
results back via NSCA to a NAGIOS 3 instance, would have any problems
or incompatibilities?

Thanks.
