How to compile check_icmp w/patch allowing Type of Service Bit?

Hello 

Ciphron has developed a patch to the check_icmp plugin allowing the TOS
bit to be set.  I would like to use this modified check_icmp plugin, but
I'm afraid I know nothing about gcc and compiling w/patches.  Also, I do
not know any German.  Can anyone help me figure out how to compile this?
