NSCA 2.7.2 (core Nagios 3.0.3) filters HTML-special characters in event messages

Dear list,

*From our old Nagios system:* we had NSCA 2.7.2 and  core *Nagios
3.0.RC2*instance: we had
*no* *problem* with NSCA and special HTML characters like <>"
Fex.: in nagios.log:
<iframe src="http://xxxxxxx" width="400" height="400" scrolling="auto"
frameborder="1"></iframe>

Note: nagios.cfg option: illegal_macro_output_chars=`~$&|'"<>

We had tried to change option: illegal_macro_output_chars=`~$&|'
But it didnt help.

Any hints/links/suggestion are always welcome
