Make sure you're using the latest version of check_procs. Make sure  
you're using the latest version of NRPE. Otherwise, provide version  
information for everything, including OS and how you installed the  
plugins/NRPE in case someone wants to try to reproduce it.

p.s. Don't test as root. Nagios isn't running the plugin as root so  
you may see different results.
