NRPE: Command check_rootpart not defined

I'm trying to check disk space on a machine with nagios/nrpe. Even
though I can run check_nrpe from the command line and get good info, my
alerts say:

***** Nagios *****

Notification Type: PROBLEM

Service: Disk Space
Host: ftp.mydomain.com
Address: 10.85.63.8
State: CRITICAL

Date/Time: Wed Jul 23 14:12:01 PDT 2008

Additional Info:

NRPE: Command check_rootpart not defined

check_rootpart is only defined once, in one nagios file (I think
checkcommands). What do I need to do to resolve this?
