check_hpasm error <Virus checked>

Hi Marcus

Thanks Markus for your insight.

So now the sudo /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_hpasm -v command runs perfectly launched by the nagios user.

I have also removed the "sudo" from the "command[check_hpasm]=" line in my nrpe.conf file and restarted xinetd and nagios.

Unfortunately Nagios still raises an "UNKNOWN - insufficient rights to call sudo /sbin/hpasmcli" error. I have checked that the nagios program runs with the nagios user.

So what's wrong ?

I know it takes a lot of time to all of us to solve this problem and I can understand the impatience shown by Gerhard but Nagios is really not simple to implement even in an evaluation environment and the documentation is sometimes very basic. I am evaluating other solutions and they are much more simple to setup. But I am convinced Nagios best fulfills our needs.
