Hi Marcus

Running "sudo
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_hpasm -v" as nagios prompts me for a password which does not make sense. If I enter the nagios user password, I get :

"Sorry, user nagios is not allowed to execute '/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_hpasm -v' as root on miysis.intra-tpg.ch."

Running "sudo /sbin/hpasmcli -s help" as nagios provides the exepected output.

It is not possible to chmod my /etc/sudoers file to 640 as it raises error when I launch the previous command (certainly a RedHat 5.0 security).

The content of my nrpe.conf is the following :

command[check_hpasm]=sudo /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_hpasm

The content of my /etc/sudoers file is the following :

nagios ALL=NOPASSWD: /sbin/hpasmcli, /opt/compaq/utils/*, /sbin/hplog, /usr/sbin/hpacucli, /opt/compaq/acucli, /usr/local/nagios/libexec/hpasm *

Things happen as if this line in the /etc/sudoers was skipped.
