I believe you can get net-snmp to execute an arbitrary program, so you 
could use a plugin from NagiosExchange.org and assign it to an OID and 
then call that OID to execute it. I believe you'd then need to query 
another 2 OIDs for result and output of that action, although this is 
off the top of my head....

Just out of curiosity, why use snmp instead of nrpe?
