_2.1_.... Um.  2.x is EOL a long time ago.  

Those functions are available in NetBSD 3.x:

bash-3.1$ grep -ir pthread__cleanup_push /usr/include/*
/usr/include/pthread.h:         pthread__cleanup_push((routine),(arg),
&__store);
/usr/include/pthread.h:void     pthread__cleanup_push(void (*)(void *),
void *, void *);
