Hardware monitoring usning nagios

The best way, in my opinion, is use SNMPTRAP, and some active checks.

I have defined onde service called "HARDWARE-TRAP" that receives all
problems related to the servers hardware problems, and let snmptrapd +
script send external command to nagios.
