One more try on Debian Etch

I've brought up a second, test box for Debian Etch. I'm trying to
install Nagios from the source code, since installing from the
pre-packaged Debian files seems to use completely different directories
than the documentation and doesn't install the sample configuration
files.

Going through the documentation, it says for the Nagios check_snmp
plugin to properly compile and install, the net-snmp and net-snmp-utils
packages must be installed. These packages don't exist for Debian Etch.
Does anyone know the corresponding packages to use and how to tell
Nagios during configuration where these packages are located?

Or as an alternative, does anyone know the standard directories the
Debian Etch Nagios-Text and Nagios-Plugin packages install to by default
and how to get the sample configs installed like it does with the Nagios
source code? I haven't found any good How-to for the configuration and
use of the Nagios Plugins for Debian Etch, only installation of the
packages.

TIA

Joel
