# file /opt/nagios/bin/nagios
/opt/nagios/bin/nagios: ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version 1, dynamically linked, stripped

I cannot run it as root or nagios. Below is from root. Without truss and with truss.

# /opt/nagios/bin/nagios -v /opt/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
Killed

/export/home
# truss /opt/nagios/bin/nagios -v /opt/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
truss: cannot execute program: /opt/nagios/bin/nagios

As stated to Darren I ran it a nagios user and root. I did try changing the permissions anyway.
