Well, as nagios 2.9 doesn't use mysql at all by default, I'd say you
have nothing to worry about so far as truncating the database. Now if
you've added components that you haven't told us about, that's a whole
different matter.

As has been posted here before (and to you specifically I believe)
please provide ALL relevant information.
