Way to check email loop with imap with ssl

Hi guys i was checking out nagiosexchange for a plugin to check an email 
loop and well they have what i need... SORT OF.

What they have is a check e-mail loop plugin that sends with SMTP and 
checks with IMAP

What i need is something that sends with SMTP and send with IMAPS

there's someone on there that posted changes for IMAPS but i tried 
making the changes but it didn't seem to take correctly. Maybe i'm 
reading his changes incorrectly.
