Hi Michael,
Put + sign instead of spaces in the query string like:

/usr/bin/curl -d
"PNumber=$CONTACTPAGER$&PLine1=**+$NOTIFICATIONTYPE$+alert+-+Host+$HOSTALIAS$+is+$HOSTSTATE$+**"
http://intranet.ccf.org/webftd/sendpage.asp


Try this one. What does it look like? :)
