If Debian is including a logrotate script for nagios then that should be
treated as a bug and reported back to the maintainer. logrotate
shouldn't be used on the nagios log files. Nagios handles the rotation
of its own logs internally based on the log_rotation_method.

Worst case you'd want to remove log files older than your longest
desired reporting period or 2 years old, whichever is less.
