Monitoring a page within a subdirectory.

How can I monitor a page within a subdirectory on a web server?  For
example, the I want to make sure the page
http://domain.com/subdirectory/its accessible.

Can I have nagios get access to the page and find a word within the page to
make sure its accessible?
