You may need to supply the /usr/bin/mail (or preferred mail program)
directive to the notify-by-email command definition. That is what I had
to do to get my notifications going

Hello,

 

I am trying to get the notifications by email working and I am having a
problem.

 

I see the emails going to the root account but it does not send to our
email server any ideas? Do I need to configure something additional to
Linux to allow or know where to send the emails to our email server?
