Scheduling maintenance

Hi All;

I recently converted from nagios 1.3 to 2.5, both on debian stable.

Under 1.3 I had cron run a shell script that wrote a line to the
/var/run/nagios/nagios.cmd to perform automated, scheduled,
maintenance. I changed it to write to /var/run/nagios2/nagios.cmd.

The external commands parameter in nagios.cfg is:

 check_external_commands=1, and I have
command_check_interval=-1.

As far as I can tell the external command interface hasn't changed. I'm
not getting any sort of error from the script. I get a line like this
in the log:

[1168977971] EXTERNAL COMMAND: SCHEDULE_SVC_DOWNTIME;web1;Check New Web
Servers;1168948740;1168950600;1;3600;auto;Weekly tomcat restart

But the maintenance never shows up as scheduled maintenance.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

--- David
