Solaris 10 and the nrpe client

Hi,

I have recently built a new instance of a Nagios server, it is running on Linux.
The clients are Linux and Solaris. All clients are able to communicate with the Nagios server via the nrpe client pkg, EXCEPT my 2 solaris 10 boxes. I can not get it to run on these servers, it does not want to start up on the client. I am wondering if this is a Solaris 10 in-compatible issue, or am I doing something wrong. I am using the standalone version for the client

so when I do: ./nrpe -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg -d &

it just will not start as all the other Solaris and linux server do.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks
DR
