NRPE dependencies

Hi,

	On most of the hosts I monitor, there are many tests done via NRPE.  If 
network connectivity is down for sometime, I receive notifications for 
all these checks.

	I thought about creating a service dependency so that if NRPE is u,c, 
or w, all the other tests (that depend on NRPE) should not be done (or 
notifications not sent).

I think service dependencies support dependent checks on the same host. 
  What can I do to avoid being flooded by notifications when NRPE is not 
accessible?
