troubles with check_by_ssh

I am have problems using the most recent libraries of ssh2 the commerial
version. Here is the error when nagios runs the plug-in.

Remote command execution failed: warning: You have no controlling tty.
Cannot read confirmation.

Here is the command line execution...

Here is the /var/log/messages on host18...

Oct 25 15:10:10 host18 sshd2[13080]: Remote host disconnected: Key exchange

exchange failed.'

The ssh versions...

ssh2 -V
ssh2: SSH Secure Shell 2.2.0 on i686-pc-linux-gnu

nagios
ssh -V
ssh: SSH Secure Shell 3.2.9.1 on i686-pc-linux-gnu
