I know some tools based upon Cisco Discovery Protocol. Netdisco and
Nedi for example. So I can gather information from my network and than
manually add it to my configs? So, that's a good idea, I think. Some
kind of script will make it more easy to enter new lines into
configs...

My goal is to find out very quickly with the help of Nagios about new
equipment. Monitoring or not monitoring is the another question. I am
implementing Nagios in our company now. So I am investigating all of
Nagios capability. At this stage I want now if I can have the
auto-updating configuration of my network. It is very important
feature for my boss.

Sorry, I didn't understand what automatic tool do you use. Can you
explain a little this method?
