Restart with external command

Hello


Is there a reload command in external commands ?

If I use the RESTART_PROGRAM this restarts completly and lossing the information set by nagios cmd.cgi.

Any tips or tricks apreciated.
Running nagios 2.5 on FreeBSD 5.3
