Plugin alerts

I am using the chkNmapScan.pl plugin. The plugin is working fine, but it
never emails me alerts. My check_TCP plugin also does not alert me. The
normal ping/check_host_alive one is fine.

Any ideas?

My contacts.cfg is

define contact{

        contact_name                    Nick_Weaver

        alias                           Nagios Admin

        service_notification_period     24x7

        host_notification_period        24x7

        service_notification_options    w,u,c,r

        host_notification_options       d,r

        service_notification_commands   host-notify-by-email

        host_notification_commands      host-notify-by-email

        email                           nweaver at keylabs.comXXXXX

        }
