Hi Andreas,

There was a thread about this some time back. Look for "Monitoring
hardware RAID" thread.

Arrayprobe was suggested: http://www.strocamp.net/opensource/

Also there was a suggestion to use the diagnostic utility that is
normally provided by the hardware integrator of the hardware raid
adapter.
