Nagios debugging

Hi list,

 

i compile Nagios 1.4.1 with options debugging options --enable-DEBUG1 and --enable-DEBUG2, but I don't get any messages.

Can someone tell me where theses debug messages go?

Do I have to change something in the syslog config?
