nagios pages to verizon / blackberries

I can only say that while this used to work for us it no longer does.
We are using the same Verizon number.

Verizon was no help and they claim the problem is our third party
software(sendpage) and nothing on their end. Sendpage indicates the
page is successfully delivered to the Verizon modem but it never reaches
the Blackberry.

Is this what you are seeing?

Subject: [Nagios-users] nagios pages to verizon / blackberries

Hello,

I want to set up nagios to send out-of-band text messages to my
Verizon Blackberry. I want those pages to go out over a phone line, to
remain totally independant from our IP network.

Anyone got this working? Using sendpage? Are you calling
1-866-823-0501 ? Some other TAP gateway? Anything Blackberry-specific
provided by RIM?

Thanks,
